Like Atrium said, you can easily merge them if you own Acrobat. If you don't, you can still do it for free online using a PDF merging service like this one.

Thanks for posting that link. I've got a few co-workers who don't own a copy of Acrobat and will likely find this useful!

"And many strokes though with a little axe hew down and fell the hardest-timbered oak.” (Shakespeare) One paper down (and was it ever a doozie to write). One more to go, and I'm done the coursework for my PhD! Wheee! I should finish the second paper later today, if I can motivate myself to work on it.

I think there's a long running april fools gag in that sender rules and liability thread. Joke kinda got sour after a while but everyone keeps going at it. Too soon?

So angry right now. I won a bid on a lot of comics through the GoodWill auction site, and the pictures clearly showed some specific issues I wanted. See here: http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=9695439 Based on the images, I bid pretty highly (amid other competing bidders) and won. The package arrived today, and not a single issue from any of the images were included. What kills me is that I feel bad about complaining because the money is for charity. Still, I never would have bid so high if they said the images were just examples and not the actual lot. I've won auctions from that site on several occasions and never had this problem before... We'll see if they try to make things right but something tells me to doubt it. __________________ **I send in bubble mailer + top loader + soft sleeve**AtriumXP@gmail.com (e-mail/PayPal) I answer ref requests! I'd complain, who cares if it's for charity, it still was misrepresented.

It's only $60 bucks, I'd suck it up. I wouldn't fault goodwill for this, it's not like Comic Books are their specialty. They might take sympathy, though they clearly state "All comic books are not returnable. No exceptions". They then go on to say you can contact them within 3 days and it's dealt with on a case-by-case basis. No harm in pleading your case, if they take them back I'd donate a few bucks to them for their consideration of the matter.

That's entirely my conflict I use their site because I know the money goes to a great cause. I've bought many comic lots from them (as well as Magic cards, including lots showing dual lands) and just never had this issue before. I've always received the items pictured in the photo (including the dual lands). In this case, I could have easily gotten the issues I was looking for at about $25, so I knew I was overpaying from the start. The rub is that I knowingly overpaid and still didn't get what I was expecting. But like you said, comics are comics to them. I'm privileged enough to be able to donate to charity each year and do so quite happily, so I won't fight back if they tell me to suck it up. I guess I just needed to vent a little. __________________ **I send in bubble mailer + top loader + soft sleeve**AtriumXP@gmail.com (e-mail/PayPal) I answer ref requests! This is just especially funny to me because I *know* which version you're talking about, but there's also a.. um... "product" by the same name. So when you posted that it "looks like fun", I giggled. Quite a bit, lol.

What does Goodwill actually do with their money besides open more stores?

Creating more stores is basically their entire purpose, their goal is to provide employment & training to handicapped/disabled people/people who lack education or have general difficulty entering the workforce.
