I am looking to see if anyone on here has had dealings with Abugames by selling them cards.Picky on grading? How do they pay you? Time it took? Not looking for info if you bought cards, just selling.

I've done a lot of deals with them and each time I choose to get paid through checks. It's more time than paypal but no fee and their turnaround time sending to you is very reasonable. They are realistic/honest about condition.

One of the, if not the best dealer to sell to, if you want to get dealer prices for your cards.

Perhaps they are better now, but they were extremely picky when I sold/traded to them a year ago. It was right around when they started doing graded stuff and unless something would grade a 9 they paid half NM price. At the same time I got a "NM" card from them that had coffee spilled on it.

I believe that this is generally true about all the online retailers. They are much pickier about the cards they receive over the cards that they send you. Channelfireball sent me some obviously played cards when I order NM a month ago. I've done a lot of business with ABU. Even if they are picky at times, they are very fair and will contact you in advance if they are going to offer you pld price for a card you marked down as nm. To be honest, though, there are plenty of times when people send in cards to dealers that are played hoping to get better than they should get.

They are pretty tough on grading if you are selling. However they are VERY loose on grading if you are trading to them.-Matt

Also 100% depends on whhich employe looks your cards over, some don't care other will spend 5min+ per card looking them over. They also tend to care mostly for bends, tear, scratches etc over things like minor wear on edges... __________________ I shall have the souls of all who defy me. "Lord Crovax"

I've never had any problem sending lightly played cards in as NM to the trade buylist, I have had 1-2 problems while selling, but they just gave me a fair percentage off of their NM price. They are by far the best online retailer in my opinion.

In 9 sales @ $1800 total for 2011, I have never had a card rejected

Some of my friends complained that ABU never sent them a payment after receive the cards, but that's a while ago.I sold cards to them a few times recently, no problem at all and the check arrives pretty quick. I don't think they are very picky, unless your card is obviously played.

I second this. I have done business with them countless times and they have always been responsive to emails and reasonable to deal with.

Anyone ever put multiple orders in the same envelope or flat rate box? I figure I will do some in the morning and some in the evening after work? I don't feel like that should be an issue, but figured I would ask.

Why would you do multiple orders? You should have the first one shipped before you have the time to do a second one.

Well I plan on after FNM on friday to start doing the list, and mail monday. I would much rather do like a friday batch, a saturday batch and a sunday batch. All in case something happens...a time out, a crash a windows update...etc.

Has anyone SOLD cards to ABUgames?I sent in stuff from there HOT want/buy list... 1. Took them a while to respond to my email inquiring about them recieving my package. 2. Told me they get a ton of mail, and need to put the order number on the outside of the package when sending..Don't think this explained in the process on the website for sending cards in... 3. After telling me they found and recieved my package, they still hadn't updated the status of recieving my cards for my order on the website. 4. They have my cards and still haven't sent payment (paypal). I know its holidays time, but they HAVE my cards ($700 worth)...not like they would ship me an order that I hadn't paid for...

I believe Coolio's issue was a pre order issue involving how long they let a check clear.

I've never had a problem with them. They receive a huge amount of cards and are still have one of the quickest turnarounds of stores that buy.

Everything I sent in looked NM to me and they didn't say other wise, also I think it took about a week for them to process the cards but I sent in a few hundred.

Was the amount right though? When I sold to cardkingdom, they didn't say anything either, but the amount I got was simply 25% less
