So, I'm thinking to myself. I hate buying from dealers, but I want an easy way to find the cards I'm looking for. So what if I build a site like half.com, but for MTG cards. That way, the community is supplying the products and getting the opportunity to sell directly to buyers. I was thinking that for non-NM cards, I'd enable a photo upload, so buyers can preview the card. In addition, it could also house the transaction, kind of like an escrow service. So, you buys some cards and send the money to the site. The seller sends the cards out. You get the cards in the mail and approve. The funds are then released to the seller. Yeah, I'm sure there would have to be some dispute resolution, but I could also make user ratings based on sales. Thoughts? Like it, hate it, would use it?__________________ This tool is freaking awesome for finding deals on magic cards on eBay! Haven't you basically described eBay?How would you stop people from receiving and then say they didn't? Force everybody to buy $20 shipping for a $10 card?

yeah, there's a difference between this and ebay, Much like there's a diff between ebay and half.com. I'm not talking about creating an auction site, but a place where people can post their cards in an organized fashion alongside other sellers.

If you made a cardshark that I can use and isn't going to lie for 9 years about "very soon" allowing Canadians to use it, then that's a first step, I guess.

I'd probably have plenty of feedback on various matters, but it would have to be more than just a conceptual paragraph before I can really help.

I do from time to time, catch people sleeping on cards that recently spiked.

Yup. Cardshark is like a slower TCGplayer, which is good and bad.
