If anyone is paying $40 pre-order for this card, you are an absolute moron. Splashable, yes. Playable in constructed? I'm not even sure. I can't even see this staying at $20. Really putting myself out there to have this thread nathed at rotation, but does anyone actually see this as a "great" card?

IMO it's good and playable - but in a way like Elspeth Tirel. In a niche deck that a few people use (classic UW control). It'd go good in some Big Red or U/R deck that uses Sphere of the Suns to accelerate, and she'll double your volt charges or Tezzeret's Gambits.

She's better than you're giving her credit for, but $40 does seem kinda high. With only 1 red mana requirement, I can see her getting splashed in all sorts of normally non-red decks.

I think Chandra in a mono red deck with Tezzeret's Gambit could be amazing. 3 mana for lose 2 life and draw 4 cards while keeping Chandra at the same number of loyalty seems prety good. Last card you could play in red that really allowed you to draw cards was Browbeat and even that wasn't guaranteed card draw.

I can see Chandra being great card but it relies on other cards to be great. So I think I wouldnt pay more than 20 for it 25 max.
