The tracking isn't 100.00% foolproof but it's typically very reliable. There's nothing that really raises red flags for me (for example, I've had things marked as "delivered" at 8-8:30am--they aren't even out delivering mail that early). The only yellow flag I see is the first "undeliverable as addressed."

Having two items marked as delivered but that she "never received" sounds like something's wrong on either her end (e.g. stolen after placed in mailbox) or her local post office/mail carrier (delivered to wrong address? this is a common mistake, and the "undeliverable as addressed" error on the first one indicates this as a possible problem). Vegas might have a better idea as to what you should do here, but I'd probably get her to ask her mail carrier first, and then go to the post office if her carrier doesn't know/doesn't care.

She gave me this postal code:
85258

When I updated me address on ebay it automatically changed it to:
85258-6082

Whats with the 6082?Does that just mean Scottsdale,AZ?

The -6082 doesn't really mean much, afaik--it's just a more narrowed/specific version of the zipcode. So for example, if 85258 is given to the city of Scottsdale, AZ, then 85258-6082 might be a particular neighborhood within the city.

6082 is a routing number that post offices use for towns or cities. Most people on MOTL at least do not add it to their zip code when they ship items or having items shipped to them in the mail. I'm not 100% sure what it means but I would have to guess that it's the number used by mail carriers for their mail routes.

Last 4 digits are a routing number, but I always think of this simpsons episode when I see them.

Bill: This machine reads zip codes. These five digits tell us
where to direct your mail.
Lisa: But it's nine digits now, what's the point of these
other four numbers?
Bill: Those are citizen relocation codes. With any luck,
we'll ... never need 'em.
[a red light on a wall-mounted security camera blips;
behind it are a pair of security guards, one of which
has his finger on a big red button. They stare at a
picture of Lisa on their screen]
Guard #1: She's onto us. Should I flood the chamber?
Guard #2: Not yet. Let's get some lunch.

The 4 digits are routing numbers as others have said. For example, the building where I work ends in -5656. Conceivably the post office could mis-route the mail if the last 4 were incorrect.

Make sure you have the address correct right down to the letter. For example, make sure it wasn't send to "Maple Ave" instead of "Maple Drive." Make sure it had an apartment or room number if applicable (and have her check with the rental/leasing office if she has one).

If you do find out that the address was not accurate, see if you can find out where it might have been routed to (google search for other similar street names like "maple ave, maple circle, maple road, etc."). If there is a 123 maple ave and a 123 maple road, search deeper and see if you can find a phone number for the other similar address.

Two different packages delivered on two different days going missing indicates it was likely sent to the wrong address, especially with the "undeliverable as addressed" notice.

I am a USPS carrier, I would absolutly contact the local Postmaster down there something is fishy here. If something is marked undelivered as addressed then it should have been returned to the return address(did you put your address as the return) so for it to be delivered 5 days later is strange. If you like you can PM me with any questions, I will try to help point you to who can help you.

I actually know my 4 digit extension...I'm 65203-1985, I'm NEVER sure if I should add it or not. Will it potentially speed up delivery?
