VJames83 | There are some sick cards in Planeschase that could be cube-worthy. What do you guys think of: Maelstrom Wanderer Baleful Strix Illusory Angel Etherium-Horn Sorcerer Shardless Agent |
WeedIan | I just like Shardless Agent and the Bouncy Cascade guy. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 11th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

nailbunny7 | baleful strix. That's it. The two cascade cards are in the wrong colours for me to want them. The Shardless agent would only be good if you don't really run counter spells in your cube, same with the UR guy. |
hilikuS | The Angel seems way awesome in a draft type format, no? Especially in like a cube without rares.

Legacy Hypergenesis. |
Khurtz | Baleful Strix comes in and replaces Moroi for me (which had replaced Dimir Guildmage recently) and Etherium-Horn Sorcerer comes in to replace Nucklavee. Etherium-Horn isn't super good but U/R is one of the weakest gold colors in cube. The other cascade guy is in the wrong colors and is too cheap to be worth it. I worry about cascading into counterspells or other blue spells that I can't use, plus it's too cheap to hit a lot of good stuff like Bribery, Treachery, FoF, etc. |

Khurtz | Interesting article, it actually does make some pretty good points about testing with him. I'll probably try the agent sometime down the road as I can try replacing either Lorescale Coatl or Cold-Eyed Selkie in my cube with it, however my main deterrent at the moment is that it's $8 and I just spent a bunch updating my cube from the last few sets. Thanks for sharing the article : - ) |

NP, I'd cut Coatl for him, yes Coatle can get really big really fast, but he has no evasion. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 11th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs

Possibley, but alot of cubes don't contain clone, some don't even play vesuvan shapeshifter anymore. I like Shapeshifter more than this guy. __________________ Member Since 03/28/2001 12000+ posts 1st in posts in Ontario 11th in posts on MOTL 5th in Refs in Ontario Pushing to get to top 100 in MOTL Refs
