How to send: http://www.ehow.com/how_2076721_send-money-via-paypal.html You are not charged any fees for sending a payment. The person on the receiving end pays the fees. Fee's are normally around 2.9%. Sending as a gift is basically a way to for the seller to "avoid" the fees. When you select type of payment you select gift or personal payment. These will both waive the fee if sending to someone with a personal account (Doesn't waive fees to business accounts). Sending as a gift also waives your 100% paypal buyer protection, so if you get ripped, there is nothing you can do. This is why I recommend sending as a regular payment unless the guy is extremely reputable on this site. Hope that helps. |
Skwirlnutz | Thanks! Also is there a faster way to withdraw funds from your bank? Because here in Canada it takes 6-8 Business days for funds to reach my Paypal account.... |

I'm afraid not. Even here in the USA it takes 3-5 business days for funds to transfer. It's painfully slow. |

This is correct. Unfortunately there is no way to avoid the wait. |
Harmless | Just buy on ebay. People here want small store prices or better, so you might as well just wait for a deal on ebay. |

I'm not sure what you're talking about, as that was legitimate advice. I wasn't trying to stir the pot, just pointing out something that I've noticed. It seems non-intuitive, but despite these boards being a buyer's market I think you'd possibly save more time and probably more money if you just sniped ebay rather than waiting around here for the right person to come along and accidentally underprice their cards. I'm sorry if it looked like I was trolling by being slightly off topic. I was just trying to be helpful. |
